Condition Report*: Both sconces present very well overall, with light wear consistent with gentle household use. Each shows light traces of household paint to the reverse where the shades mount to the wall, and minor scuffs to the wooden elements, largely confined to edges and undersides. The first sconce shows a small scuff to the upper right of the frame, scattered scuffs to the reverse, and a few faint marks to the curved wooden support at the base, with minor separation where the curved element meets the frame and a ¾-inch scuff with slight lifting of the fiberglass shade to the underside - none visible when displayed. The second sconce exhibits similar paint traces and slight separations at the curved joints, one with a small split and another with a tiny loss, neither affecting structure or appearance when mounted. Additional short scuffs with subtle lifting to the fiberglass shade appear along the curved upper edge and underside, again not apparent when in place. Overall, both are sturdy, well-made examples, showing only light wear commensurate with age and gentle use.
