Condition Report*: In good overall condition, showing light wear commensurate with age and household use. The backrest with minor finish wear along the upper edge toward the middle right side; dowels appear to have been reattached at some point, showing light adhesive residue and sitting not quite flush with the backrest, though remaining secure. The seat exhibits comparable light wear with small losses to the front left and right corners, a scuff to the center front edge, and minor edge wear overall. The legs show light scuffing and wear consistent with cleaning and use, including a larger scuffed area to the upper front of the proper left leg and a small scuff to the reverse of the front right leg just below the horizontal stretcher. The underside shows two shallow crescent-shaped impressions to the rear right, unobtrusive and not affecting stability. Overall a sturdy, well-balanced chair with even finish and surface wear consistent with age and use.
