This painting was featured in SuperAwesome: Art and Giant Robot, a dynamic and groundbreaking exhibition held at the Oakland Museum of California from April 19 to July 27, 2014 . The exhibition celebrated the 20th anniversary of Giant Robot, an influential magazine that spotlighted Asian and Asian American pop and alternative culture.

Co-curated by Giant Robot co-founder Eric Nakamura and OMCA's Associate Curator of Art & Material Culture Carin Adams, SuperAwesome showcased new and recent works by 15 contemporary artists affiliated with the magazine. The exhibition featured a diverse range of mediums, including mural art, sculpture, illustration, portraiture, large-scale installations, graphic novels, and photography .
