Flor de Peru I claim (Tantadora Mine), Mt Ullpac (Mt Ollupac), Pampa Blanca, Castrovirreyna District, Castrovirreyna Province, Huancavelica Department, Peru

This is a rarely seen matrix specimen from this Peruvian locality. It features two, very distinctive, sprays of green Epidote growing from a colorless Quartz crystal matrix. For added joy there are a bunch of double terminated Calcite twins of zero color, draped all over the Quartz. This rare matrix piece is in excellent condition - what's not to love?
Overall measurements: 6.5 x 5.5 x 7 inches (16.5 x 14 x 17.8 cm).
