For Emerald specimens, pieces that originate from Colombia are considered to be some of the most desired on the market for their abundance of chromium, which gives the crystals a deep, intense green hue. This compact and very striking specimen features brilliantly colored Emerald crystals resting on a highly contrasting matrix of white to colorless Calcite, with a trace of hosting black shale on the back side. The main Emerald is prominently positioned in the center of the display and measures an impressive 1.7 centimeters in length, with vibrant green color, strong gemminess, and glassy luster. A second smaller but equally vivid Emerald crystal projects from the bottom edge. Each of the crystals are well-formed with no repairs and the piece as a whole is in excellent condition.
