The Gold crystals from Mato Grosso quickly rose to fame in the collecting world, boasting some of the best hoppered features for the species, enchanting everyone from mineral novices and metal enthusiasts alike. This particular piece is very stout, especially for its size! Both sides show a blend of sharp hoppered growths and spinel-twinned branches that culminate to two prominent arborescent spires. All of the specimen is deeply saturated with a warm yellow color and accented with a delightful metallic sheen. This piece is in excellent condition.
