A sculptural combination piece from Pasto Bueno that presents a striking arrangement of transparent Quartz crystals rising between groups of vivid sea-green Fluorite. The largest Quartz reaches an impressive 9.6 centimeters in length and stands prominently at the center of the display; most of the Quartz throughout the specimen is sharply terminated with exceptional clarity and a glassy luster. The sides of the specimen are framed by several robust, interwoven Fluorite cuboctahedrons, the most substantial of which are covered in beautifully stepped growths. Under UV light, the Fluorite strongly fluoresces a ghostly blue. This piece is in great condition with some repair work and one missing Quartz crystal tucked away and only visible from the back side.
