One of the most popular, and iconic, of all Iron Meteorites, Gibeon is covered for its visual appeal and relative stability. This example of such metallic material consists of a robust complete individual with a stout weight of 1.9 kilograms (4.2 pounds). The hefty piece has a little weathering and layered cracking over a dark brown surface with silver metal visible on most of the edges and raised areas. Gibeon has a major following among collectors for obvious reasons, and this example even comes with a very unique custom base. The rock from space is nicely shaped and just lacking a bit of stability that can be restored with light oiling.
