Description
Native GoldSerra do Caldeirão claims, Pontes e Lacerda, Mato Grosso, Brazil
2.9 x 2.6 x 1.8 cm (1.14 x 1.02 x 0.71 in)
27.3 grams
A very showy Gold specimen showing spectacularly hoppered crystallization throughout much of the piece. However, the hoppered Gold transitions to aerial dendritic growths that weave across the backside and branches upward toward the specimen's top-right corner. Typical of the locality, the Gold crystals throughout the piece are heavily accented with a metallic luster and have a warm yellow hue.
From the collection of Daniel "Dan" R. Kennedy.
More Information: This piece is in excellent condition.
