This piece is an exceptional and very showy example for the Tourmaline specimens from the Himalaya Mine consisting of two fully-formed, doubly-terminated, prismatic crystals of Tourmaline (reaching up to 4.3 x 2.1 x 1.6 centimeters in size) with proportional associations of Quartz. Both Tourmalines are completely glassy all around, especially the flatter pinacoidal terminations at the top of the specimen. All throughout, the Tourmaline crystals are transparent and nicely saturated with a deep pink hue. The Quartz has a slight smoky-grey tinge throughout the crystals, offering a moderate contrast to the Tourmaline. This piece seems to be a complete floater with any repairs being isolated to the Quartz.
