This vibrant specimen from Colorado showcases a dense grouping of sharply formed Amazonite crystals, the largest of which reaches an impressive 6.2 centimeters. The Amazonite displays a rich teal-blue color with excellent saturation and crisp, well-defined faces. Interspersed throughout the Amazonite are several dark, translucent Smoky Quartz crystals that provide striking contrast against the Amazonite's vivid tones. The matrix itself is composed of a mix of Smoky Quartz and white to tan Feldspar and has been trimmed, allowing the piece to present nicely on its own.

More Information: Due to natural geologic activity that took place long before these pieces were mined, most Amazonite specimens from Colorado are repaired or reconstructed. This piece has been reconstructed but is still in good condition.
