Kondo Shiun (Japanese), June, Irises (Rokugatsu, Shobu), from the series Comparision of New Ukiyo-e Beauties (Shin ukiyo-e bijin awase), ca. 1918, signed Shiun with artist's red ink seal;
Tatsumi Shimura (Japanese, 1907-1980), Cherry Blossoms Blizzard (Hana Fubuki) and Late Summer (Natsu Takete), from the series Five Figures of Modern Beauties (Gendai Bijin Fuzoku Gotai), ca. 1953, published by Nihon Hanga Kenkkyusho.
