PYROMORPHITE : "LITTLE JEWEL"
Le Mine de Farges, Ussel, Correze, Limousin, France

Displaying that bright, vibrant green color that the best of Les Farges specimens possess, this miniature size example features complex crystals up to ¾ inch (21 mm) in length, arranged in radiating and sub-parallel groupings of individual crystals. There are some breaks but most are buried amidst surrounding crystals. The mine closed in 1981, so there will be no more from this wonderful locality.
Overall measurements: 2 x 1.75 inches (5.1 x 4.4 cm). Offered at no reserve.
