A FRENCH PORCELAIN AND PATINATED METAL URNCirca 1875
12-3/8 inches high (31.4 cm)
The inverted bell-form urn painted to either side with a lion and snake facing off, with scroll handles terminating in eagle mask, inset bowl, set on black lacquered metal socle base.
Condition Report*:
The urn presents well with repair to rim above one handle visible under black light, a hair-line crack extends up and down from eagle-head handle with a scratch to the blue ground just above this mount, denting to inset bowl.
