10 x 8-1/2 x 3-1/4 inches (25.4 x 21.6 x 8.3 cm)
These two figures, after the model by Stepan Stepanovich Pimenov (Russian, 1784-1833), are among the most beloved from the Gardner factory. The water carriers, were produced in a variety of polychrome designs as well as in bisque heightened with gilding.

Condition Report*:
An area of overpaint to proper left's underarm; visible from reverse. Possible production related adhesive residue under proper left hand's index finger. One small flake to base's reverse. Small dents to jars, and minor rubbing to gilt on headdress. Examined under UV light.
