This specimen of Sikhote-Alin meteorite is a remnant of the bolide that exploded over Siberia in 1947 to the shock and amazement of the numerous witnesses who saw the incredible event. This unique sample stands vertically on its own as the iron example has a bit of a statuesque quality with aesthetic texturing.
