This gorgeous grouping features seven fantastic fossil shrimp of the Carpopenaeus variety presented against a light tan matrix from Lebanon. Not only are the crustaceans expertly restored to showcase the fine details of these prehistoric prawns, but at least two of the group are set in a slight bas-relief from the stone, enhancing their visibility. This is a striking presentation that would be a feature in any collection.
