This 8.42-gram slice of the Cape York Iron Meteorite represents a fragment of one of the largest known meteorite falls, discovered in Greenland. The etched surface reveals the signature Widmanstätten pattern-interlocking bands of Kamacite and Taenite formed over millions of years in a cooling planetary core. The silvery metallic sheen contrasts with fine natural weathering along the edge. Compact and beautifully prepared, this piece bridges cosmic origins with human history. This is one classic Iron meteorite from a historically significant fall.
