PROVENANCE:

Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. A very small areas of paint loss in the red field to the upper right of center. A few scattered small dots of accretion. An approximately 4-inch horizontal line of protuberance on the canvas, just below center of right edge, most apparent under raking light. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: aforementioned accretions fluoresce. Modern pigments fluoresce as expected. No apparent retouching.
