This individual specimen is actually a section of a tusk from a Woolly Mammoth. This remnant from the Pleistocene ("Ice Age") is a subtle combination of earthy colors and is shaped more like a wrist cuff than anything else. The outer curved surface is polished smooth, while the "natural" interior is hard and dull.
