This piece of Dinosaur Bone was cut from the rough "knuckle" section of a large bone. Several slices out of the section were cut and polished. This, along with some others, were left in their natural rough state and could be polished further. This example was photographed wet to highlight the rich coloration deep within the fossilized bone material. This chunk has a large core of the prized red color which makes it cool.
