Coprolite, the name derived from the Greek word meaning "dung stone," is the term for any fossilized dinosaur or reptilian droppings, or in this case, the droppings of what is likely a Hadrosaurid, or a "duckbilled" dinosaur. Coprolites, due to their organic nature, are not often fossilized, especially to this quality, and are valuable in that they often indicate the diet, and subsequently, the lifestyle and behavior of the dinosaur or reptile. The elongated shape at over 5 inches (12.7 cm) and craquelure are well-defined and have a rich reddish-brown coloration.
