A Three Piece William Thomson Coin Silver Tea Set, New York, New York, circa 1830

The set comprising creamer, covered sugar, and teapot with lidded vessels surmounted by rounded floral finials, repoussé work to lids, milled foliate banding to rims of each, applied foliate trim to shoulders, Rococo-style "C" scroll handles to each, bodies with gadrooned egg-and-dart decoration, down to foliate collar above standard, stepped ovoid base, with milled foliate banding to base.
