This incredibly vibrant pink Sapphire is revered by collectors due to the rich and electric hue on full display. Presenting with a purplish pink bodycolor, this noteworthy pink Sapphire weighs in at 1.87 carats and features a classic oval shape with mixed-cut faceting. The crown displays brilliant facets, while the pavilion shows sophisticated step-cut faceting, especially around the girdle. The punchy pink stone was mined from Vietnam, a notable locality for the coveted variety. Sourced from a remote mountain region, this variety of Corundum is moderately included, with some surface-reaching inclusions, adding to the story of this storied stone. A few cavities are present along with some nicks along the girdle and facet junctions. Color is king, and this gem has that in spades, as the hue is highly saturated, and the stone presents with a nice cut and polish, with overall good brilliance and condition. Accompanied by two gemological reports, both stating no heat treatment, this is one incredible example of the 'Big Three.'
