Out of a renowned private collection, this example of Besednice Moldavite exhibits an elongated form with a tapered shape and bristly texture. Such vitreous projectile glass was thought to have been formed some 15 million years ago by a meteorite impact. The light forest green specimen is highly translucent and weighs just over 8 grams. The "hand-picked" representation of the unique Tektite is definitely an upper-echelon piece that has been residing in a major curated collection.
Measurements: 2.24 x 0.72 x 0.54 inches (5.69 x 1.84 x 1.37 cm), weighs 8.06 grams
