Relatively large, at a weight of nearly 353 grams, this impressive specimen of Libyan Desert Glass is highly aesthetic. Wonderful cratering covers the majority of the exterior surface and boasts a vibrant yellowish-green hue. A flat side edge allows the specimen to display without need of a base, and its back shows some remnants of impacted sand along with unique indentations and even a rare hole. Thick, solid, and hefty, this impactite is highly tactile and beckons to be held as a hand specimen of sorts. This representation has a combination of superlative attributes, which make it rather special.
