Carved from the center cut of a large specimen of Agatized Wood, this finely polished sphere reveals the warm, earthy palette characteristic of Petrified Wood from Madagascar. Rich tones of red, brown, and beige swirl across the surface, highlighting ancient growth rings and mineral replacement patterns formed over millions of years. Through a natural process of silicification, organic material was gradually replaced by microcrystalline Quartz, preserving the structure of the original wood in striking detail. The sphere's glossy finish enhances both color and texture, offering a timeless decorative piece that also serves as a tangible link to Earth's prehistoric forests.
