You almost can't see the Quartz for all the Rutile fibers filling the crystal. Radiating from a central Hematite crystal, these inclusion specimens are a staple of Brazilian mineralogy. Each individual fiber is a crystal of Rutile, preserved like a diorama within this Quartz point. It was not very long ago that these specimens were flooding the mineral market, but supply has started to run dry. Many of these pieces wind up cut into jewelry by lapidary artists, leaving specimen and inclusion collectors scrambling. Chances are, pieces as rich as this will only become increasingly scarce as the years march onwards. It comes with a custom acrylic base.
