Extremely thin and weighing only 58.1 grams, this meteorite slice has a relatively large surface area and a wonderfully appealing display face. Greenish-brown entwines with black to result in a contrasting mix of clasts and background. Representing NWA 11525, this breccia, with basaltic lithologies, was found in 2017 and, most importantly, is lunar in origin. The total known weight of the fall is only 820 grams, and the meteorite fell as a single stone. Its polished display surface is very attractive and measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) across. This slice is surprisingly sturdy and features a rugged rind over the entirety of its edge.
