"Hey," you might be thinking to yourself, "didn't Rock have another one of these?" Yes, yes he did. Many fellow mineral collectors have asked Rock why he felt the need to double up his collection, to which he always replied "Because I can." When Rock spotted these unique Rutile Inclusions during one of his annual jaunts to Brazil, he kept multiples. This piece likely came from the same locality as RHC 6543, showing off the same tell-tale red clay inclusions and distinctive rutile habit. Both of these specimens were bought off of Mauricio in the late 1990s, likely as part of a bulk purchase to stock the shelves of Jewel Tunnel Imports. Like many of Rock's inclusion pieces, this Quartz has been brought to a high polish for a perfect view inside. The result is a water-clear crystal with excellent luster, ready for display.
