This true keepsake consists of an actual partial slice of the Admire pallasite from Kansas suspended in a clear Lucite block. Metal and crystals are visible on both sides of the thin section, which represents one of the best pallasite varieties available and is partially translucent. This specimen is imprinted as having been recovered by Geoff Notkin and his co-star Steve Arnold during the filming of the pilot episode of the television series Meteorite Men on October 9, 2008. Only 100 of these limited-edition collectibles were produced from one of the Admire pallasites found on the show and were quickly sold out in 2010. This specimen was Nokin's personal piece, which he kept from the edition of 100. A wonderful Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Notkin on June 5, 2023, accompanies this protected and display-ready offering.
