Description
Muonionalusta Meteorite WristwatchIron, IVA
Norrbottens, Sweden - (67° 48'N, 23° 6'E)
Found: 1906
This incredible wristwatch features a dial crafted from a slice of the Muonionalusta Meteorite with its eye-catching "crisscross" Widmanstätten pattern. The fine octahedrite meteorite dial has been Rhodium-plated for stability and is visible beneath a clear Sapphire crystal. The round case is stainless steel and measures 50 mm, featuring stainless steel lugs and crown. For convenient timekeeping, the bezel displays engraved black Roman Numerals, and the face contains silver stick indicator markers representing minutes and hours with bright electric blued hour, minute, and sweeping second hands. The wristwatch is self-winding, with mechanical movement visible from a small accent window on the dial and through an exhibition case back. This is a classic style wound by the motion of the wearer's arm. The strap is a time-honored, versatile black leather band with a stainless steel tang and buckle. The watch is in pristine condition and water-resistant to 30 meters (3ATM) or 100 feet. This luxury accessory comes in a black protective box and will be one of the most elegant statement pieces for any capsule wardrobe.
Overall Measurements: 9.84 x 1.97 x 0.43 inches (25.00 x 5.00 x 1.10 cm)
