Condition Report*: The canteen, in overall very good condition.  No major breaks, cracks, or chips.  Surface with some loss to slip on one handle, crazing and  a few dings overall.  Minor loss to painted design on back.  No apparent restoration.  The jar, in overall good condition.  One break on the strap handle with adjacent loss, approx. 1 1/4" in length, to surface. Crazing overall.  One abrasion, approx. 1" in diameter, near the base.  Two fireclouds about the body.  Four areas og s shiny substance on the base, centerin a pencil inscription  P3214.  No apparent restoration.
