Blue Topaz is a coveted and iconic gemstone prized for its rich blue hue. This elongated oval-shaped dazzler features nice brilliance with a classic and attractive Swiss Blue hue. The stone displays expert mixed-cut faceting, as the crown gleams with brilliant facets, and the pavilion has fancy facets. The stone is nicely polished, eye-clean, slightly windowed, and shows only a few very small nicks to the table. The behemoth Topaz has even and excellent saturation of a slightly greenish-blue hue. Colorless or pale Blue Topaz is most often irradiated and heated to achieve this lasting color, which is common and accepted in the trade. This gemstone, weighing over 150 carats, is in excellent condition with an intense coloration. The stone is simply gorgeous and is accompanied by a WGI report.
