This polished free-form Malachite is instantly appealing as it displays an attractive lighter green hue due to a likely mixing with Chrysocolla. The organic-shaped specimen features large and well-defined "bull's-eye" patterning. This unique appearance confirms a concentric growth form of the mineral. This sizable sculpture has been fully polished and exhibits intriguing cavities containing velvety and botryoidal dark green Malachite crystals. Overall, this is one outstanding example of the coveted Copper material from Africa. Weighing 27 pounds (12.3 kilograms), the piece offers an immense amount of decorative appeal.
