A superb and astonishing example of a Dinosaur trackway from the famous Portland Formation of South Hadley, Massachusetts, this offering consists of the opposing "pair" of footprints of Anomoepus with the characteristic pronounced middle digit nicely centered in the mottled matrix. The three-toed plant-eater is rarer than theropod examples for the locality and was the first type discovered there. These fossils will typically feature an enhancement to improve the contrast between the dull impressions and subtle rock. It is notable that the South Hadley tracks were found only a few miles away from where the first footprints were discovered back in 1802.
