The Ruby Violet Claims have produced some of the highest quality Red Beryl specimens in the world; in fact, Utah is the only locale one can find this coveted Beryl variety. This gorgeous crystal is a sharp, doubly terminated floater that is accented by a fully crystallized negative growth interference dipping into the peak of the specimen. The majority of the specimen is a rich gooseberry red hue interwoven with increasing amounts of cloudy, white Rhyolite inclusions towards the base of the crystal. An additional well-formed, minor aggregate is present near the bottom of the specimen, which interestingly mimics the primary crystal's distribution of color, gemminess, and inclusions.
