Associated with the famous crater in West Texas, examples of the Odessa meteorite are highly prized by collectors. This incredible specimen exhibits end cut form, with both a flat and etched display surface as well as a natural exterior with dark fusion crust. Weighing 657.4 grams, the offering is heavy, which is no surprise given the significant thickness of this representation of the Iron, IAB-MG meteorite. This is simply a fabulous display piece, with the Widmanstätten pattern visible over the metallic face of this heavy rock.
