The present work is published as a Brown & Bigelow calendar. The work appears as figure 360 in Gil Elvgren All His Glamorous American Pin-Ups by Charles G. Martignette and Louis K. Meisel (Taschen, 1996). It additionally appears on page 223 in The Art of Pin-Up by Dian Hanson with Louis K. Meisel and Sarahjane Blum (Taschen, 2014).

The sultry Fascination ranks among the most sensuous canvases that Gil Elvgren ever painted. A rare nude example by the artist, the work showcases his mastery of figure and texture. The interplay among the delicate exposed skin, lustrous hair, fresh flowers, transparent gauze, and iridescent pearls is remarkable.
