Charles Field, a Texas artist, earned his B.A. from Stanford and his M.F.A. from the University of Washington. With over three decades in a teaching career, he held positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio and Austin, the University of New Mexico, and Western Illinois University. Named the San Antonio Art League's Artist of the Year in 2005, Field has had 25 solo exhibitions and is represented in numerous public collections, including the Austin Museum of Art, El Paso Art Museum, and corporate collections like Texas Instruments and USAA.
