Condition Report*: Canvas appears to be lined. Minor frame abrasion at edges. Vertical seams (possibly repairs) near left and right edges in upper half of the work, most apparent under raking light. Very slight yellowing to the varnish layer. Finely patterned craquelure. Scattered inclusions in the paint layer, original to production. Some scattered small dots of discolored accretion and pinpoint losses, apparently stabilized beneath the varnish layer. Minor surface dust. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Scattered brushy retouching at edges. A very few additional small dots and dashes of more finely applied retouching scattered throughout.
