The authenticity of this work has been confirmed by the Findlay Institute and will be included in their forthcoming André Hambourg catalogue raisonné.
Condition Report*:
Unlined canvas. Pinholes in each corner and in center of upper and lower edges. Minor frame abrasion at edges. An extremely few pinpoint losses. Not examined out of frame due to size.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Small area of finely applied retouching in upper left corner, appearing to address frame abrasion. Some modern pigments fluoresce as expected.
