Condition Report*:
A few scattered shiny accretions, drippy in appearance, visible in the sky under raking light. Finely patterned craquelure, primarily affecting the white pigments. Some scattered small losses to the areas of more thickly-applied white pigment, most notably in the lower left corner, and on the roofs of the houses on either side of the street. Scattered peeling, small losses and tears, and discoloration, some apparently water-related, to sheet margins, only somewhat affecting the painted area. Sheet is dry mounted to cardboard support, preventing inspection of the verso. Card support bows in a slightly concave manner. Card support measures 21-1/4 x 24-1/2 inches. This lot is offered unframed.
