The service comprising a teapot, coffee pot, hot water kettle on stand with burner, covered sugar, creamer, waste bowl and tray, each with octagonal bodies with chased stylized floral, foliate and diaper-work, removable and hinged lids with hexagonal vasiform finial, D-form handles, raised on conforming feet with chased decoration, the tray with mahogany inset with marquetry fruitwood inlay of an urn within a double banded border with glass cover, framed by a silver shaped rim; service monogrammed J.
