This gorgeous combination sphere of Rutile, Chlorite, and Quartz is unique, in that the star of the show, Rutile, comes in not one but two colors in this specimen. One side of the sphere features shining, deep red crystals, while the other side displays gorgeously dark, yet brightly shiny black Rutile. Within the slightly smoky Quartz sphere are sparkling "pinnacles" of Chlorite matrix, a deep mossy green color but still shimmering due to the luster. Within the Quartz, these Chlorite deposits appear like floating islands, like something out of a dream. The aesthetics of this example are wonderfully dynamic, giving this piece the appearance of a "specimen within a sphere."
