A Lot of Two Maya Bird/Men

Molded ceramic with added pigment

5½" High x 4½ Wide
4¼" High x 3½" Wide

The first represents a harpy eagle with the image of a bird head (cotinga) molded into each of his wings. The figure is molded from reddish buff clay and slipped in white. Maya blue pigment adorns the eyebrows. The second is a small bearded eagle with human eyes. Its whistling apparatus is broken.
