Many of the mineral specimens from any of the Washington localities, especially those of Spruce Ridge, are highly revered (and for good reason) amongst certain groups of collectors. This specimen is an excellent example of the breathtaking Spruce material, presenting robust Pyrite crystals, reaching up to 5.1 x 4.6 centimeters, amongst a bed of sharp, clear Quartz points. Each of the Pyrites have a well-formed pyritohedral shape and very strong metallic luster. The overall condition of the specimen is excellent with fracturing on some of the Pyrite crystals. This piece comes with a custom acrylic base.
