Many kinds of objects are used in Bwami Society instructional and ceremonial contexts, including such everyday-seeming pieces as spoons. Most Bwami spoons are made from light-colored materials such as bone of ivory, the former used for this example. An animal as undefined as this wood example is flexibly open to contextual interpretation. Both objects are in good condition.
