Preferentially coating the display view of this sizable, sharply terminated Calcite scalenohedron and a small handful of parallel growths are minor, dazzling reddish purple Yttrofluorite microcrystals. The underlying Calcite has a glassy luster and subsurficial translucence, which is best seen from the rear view of the main crystal. At the peak of the specimen are small, lustrous groups of what is most likely second generational white Calcite druze atop the Yttrofluorite.
