A truly exquisite specimen of the "Quintessential" American Meteorite, this Canyon Diablo, weighing a robust 1,365 grams (3 pounds), is superb. The Iron is extremely stable, especially for a "CD" piece, with minimal visible rusting and excellent "skin" over its exterior. With an amazing natural shape, numerous broad craters, rather sharp edges, and classic gunmetal coloration, the metallic wonder is just about as good as it gets for this variety. Highly collectible, this offering is an ideal size for a display case and has a list of attributes making it a superlative example. This is a fine representation of a very iconic Meteorite. As Canyon Diablo material is rather uncommon these days, a top sample of this quality is a real treasure.
